  • Youth Rise offers numerous free programs like Drop In, Job Prep, Basketball, Tutoring and more that are designed to fit the needs and interests of the youth in the Millbourne community.

  • Kids On Track works primarily in the West end of Edmonton offering a variety of programming including weekly youth events, after school kid's programs in schools and family events monthly.

  • Teglar Youth Centre has a variety of programs for kids and youth including a climbing wall, a huge indoor skate park, games room and a Media Arts Centre. Call them at (780) 448-5820 for up to date program times.

  • Crystal Kids in a youth drop-in centre located in the community of Parkdale. They offer a wide range of activities and programs for kids and youth throughout the week after school and in the evenings.

  • SideDoor Youth Centre is a fun and safe place for grade 6-12 students to make their own, feel like they belong, and build life-long friendships. They run a drop-in Monday-Thursday, 3:30-6:00

  • Drop-in program includes open Gym Time, Video Games, Activities and Food. As well, special programming, sports, tutoring, various life skills and classes will also provided throughout the year.

Emergency services

  • With Kids Help, young people can get information about how their thoughts, feelings and behaviours are connected and what they can do to care for their well-being.

    If young people need help right now, they can text or Facebook message a trained, volunteer crisis responder at Kids Help Phone about anything they’re going through. No issue is too big or too small.

    Young people can work with a professional counsellor at Kids Help Phone over the phone or through online chat to better understand what they’re going through.

  • Christcity Lighthouse seeks to serve families and individuals in need of a support system, helping to overcome barriers, and empowerment.

    We serve community members who may be facing issues stemming from poverty, including food insecurity, unemployment, and housing. We can also help those in need of treatment for mental or physical health conditions, family problems, or those experiencing loneliness and hopelessness.

  • The Today Centre is a service to help any adult who is experiencing family violence (abuse of any kind).

    Their Family Violence Specialists offer emotional support, risk assessment, safety planning, and resource connection (ie.legal aid, etc.) and our services are entirely Free!

    The Today Centre is a great resource for those who may desire help for their situation (regardless if they have left or not) and want to consider keeping themselves and their loved ones more safe.
