About Us

Our Story

Shiloh is a year-round Christian organization serving children and youth ages 7-17 living in high-risk and vulnerable situations in Edmonton and area. We work exclusively with those from low-income families, group homes and foster care.

We run a summer camp in July and August northeast of Edmonton that offers our children and youth a week-long, relational experience away from the city. To ensure their experience and growth does not end there, we also offer a Connections Program during the school year, which includes one-on-one mentoring and large group events. Without Shiloh, and our valued partner organizations, many of our children and youth may never receive the hope, encouragement, acceptance, mentoring and unconditional love they need.

Vision

Shiloh exists to create safe and positive communities for vulnerable children and youth so they can discover and grow in Jesus’ hope and love

Our Mission

Shiloh aims to engage vulnerable children and youth with life changing experiences and mentorship that leads them to grow in community and relationship with Jesus.

Our Core Values

  • Unconditionally Love - We advocate for our children and youth by embracing diversity, providing safe spaces, and creating and supporting opportunities for connection

  • Passion for Jesus - We are guided by our belief that Jesus is the source of hope for all children and youth.

  • Building Relationships - We connect students with each other, great mentors, and Jesus. Ambassadorship is important to Shiloh and is the basis for building partnerships with donors, volunteers, and churches.

  • Engaging Experiences - We provide our children and youth with memorable, fun, faith building experiences while supporting them in developing valuable life skills
